Living in London you see a lot of these ‘Car Guys’ around. Zooming along in their BMWs and Mercedes, most of them frankly look like twats. Especially if coupled with a bluetooth headset and sunglasses. I imagine they live in their own little world in which their 4 wheeled companion is the centre. They also like to check out the ladies, and in return the ladies check out them. Or their ride. I’ve never been sure which they’re more interested in.

Also, only 2 more songs to go! I can’t believe I’m almost there.

A quick thanks again to Raul who had lent me a mic and audio interface for the last 7 weeks. I’ve finally got round to buying my own and its about time! Purchased from Turnkey who are unfortunately closing down very soon, so if you happen to live in London get down there quick for some excellent deals.

This week’s song is almost in the bag. Its a return to simpler times and its a tune I’m pretty happy with so far. Just need to get a few more vocals done after work today and I’ll mix it up on Friday.

I’m also faced with the arduous task of moving flat at the end of the month which I’m not looking forward to. It’s dawning on me now just how much stuff I have collected over the past few years that I don’t actually need. eBay here I come…

So its been crazy hot in London over the weekend. So hot in fact that I’ve barely spent any time in front of the computer recording. Which has been quite nice really. While I’m not a big fan of the heat, it is refreshing not having rain.

I did get a chance to lay down a drum track though, so at least something was achieved. I also re-stringed my guitar finally; again something that I had been meaning to do before I started this project but never got round to! I’m such an amateur…
